Botanical Print Wall

Botanical Print Wall:

I saw an idea like this while browsing through some DIYs online. I unfortunately didn't save the website's link and it was months ago so I couldn't remember the name of the blog. Anyway it inspired me to do this Botanical Wall Print. This has been going on for a while. I started it over a month ago and never really got time to finish. Now it is done and I am quite happy with the result.

What you'll need:
- vintage botanical prints (from a book or online)
- a printer (optional)
- blue tac or tape
- scissors

How to do it:
1. I started by collecting as many vintage botanical print as possible. I have around 40 different prints which I got from the internet.

2. I printed each of them out on an A4 sheet of paper.

3. I cut some of them to have a variety of shapes and sizes.

4. This is the part which is a bit long and demands a bit of patience. I stuck them to the wall using blue tac. I arranged it to match my quirky looking room. I also glued some on top of the other to make it more interesting to look at.

And that's it! It was so simple and I must say really fun to do!

So my iphone's case is pretty much ruined now and I can't seem to find a case that I like therefore I decides to make my own one. Of course I went with a Hobbit theme but I have others as well. Here is how to do it.

What you'll need:

- a clear Iphone case
- a picture of your choice
- scissors
- cutter

How to do it:

1. Print out your picture large enough to fit into the Iphone case.

2. Cut it out. Make sure it fits in well.

3. Cut out the camera hole using your cutter.

4. Admire your super easy DIY Iphone case!

My BIGGEST and BESTEST find is definitely Lorraine Loots limited edition miniature painting book. Lorraine Loots is an artist from Cape Town. She creates miniature paintings which are also for sale. In 2013, she did a project where she has to paint a miniature every single day for 365 days. Once the project was completed she released her book entitle 365 paintings for ants. She then did the same project in 2014. The book is available on ETSY. There are only 365 copies worldwide and at the moment there are only a few left so you better get your copy quickly before they run out! I already bought mine and I can't wait for it to arrive! Here sneak a peak to see what it looks like inside. Each page has a miniature painting on it and the date it was painted on.
