Lemon Drop Berry Smoothie

Lemon Drop Berry Smoothie:

What you'll need:

- Frozen berries
- 1 banana
- 1 lemon
- some water

How to do it:

In a blender throw in a handful of berries, the juice and flesh of half a lemon, and the banana. Top it off with water and blend.

Once it’s smooth you can decide if you need to add more berries or water to get the consistency just right for you. The lemon makes it so refreshing and counteracts any heavy banana taste so if you’re not a fan of banana you won’t taste it at all.

DIY Party Animals Necklace

DIY Party Animals Necklace:

What you'll need:

- Animals ( Fake of course. Just in case someone thought of using real ones)
- Beads, chain, ribbon, fabric, rhinestones, wire etc for embellishement
22″ chain and closure findings for necklace
- bails (to make the animals into pendants)
- Glue/ Glue Gun

How to do it:

We’re going to start with the elephant so you can see what I did, then I’ll show you closeups of all of them.

The Elephant:

1. Start by gluing a rhinestone spacer to the top of the elephant’s head.

2. Add a colorful bead on top of that.

3. Cut a piece of ribbon for his blanketand glue to the back of the elephant.

4. Trim the blanket with a small piece of chain. Add a strip of rhinestones between the blanket and the tail.

5. Wrap a bit of wire around each foot.

6. Glue a bail to the elephant’s back, towards the top.

7. Let everything dry thoroughly before you add your chain.
Cut a piece of chain the length you want your necklace to be (I cut mine 22″).
Feed the chain through the bail. Add the closure pieces to the ends of the chain. I used a lobster clasp on one side and a jump ring on the other.
Now you have a super cute Party Animal Necklace!!

Here are some of the others:
They are so weird and silly but irresistable.
Dont you have those days where you feel like wearing something completely random around your neck? I'm sure you do!

DIY Mountain Pillow

DIY Mountain Pillow:

What you'll need:

- thick fabric for the base of the mountain
- White fabric for the snow peaks
- Mountain Pillow Pattern
- Corresponding thread
- sewing pins
- sewing machine
- stuffing

How to do it:

1. Using the pattern, cut out two mountain pieces. The pattern is 20″ x 20″, so if you don’t own a large-format printer, you can either print it out in tiles and tape them together, or you can take it to your local print shop and have them print it out in a large format there.

2. Cut out one snow-peaked shape from the pattern and pin it to the top of one of the mountain pieces of fabric.

3. Stitch the snow fabric to the top of one piece of mountain fabric. Be sure to stitch all the way around the snow peak shape.

4. With right sides together, pin the back of the mountain to the front.

5. With 5/8″ seam allowance, stitch all the way around the mountain shape, leaving an opening at the bottom for turning and stuffing.

6. Clip corners and trim the seam allowance.

7. By reaching into the lower opening, turn the pillow right-side out. Make sure peaks and corners are turned out nicely. You can use a wooden dowel for corners if you wish.

8. Fill mountain pillow with stuffing.

9. Adjust stuffing, filling peaks and corners, until you are happy with your pillow. Again, you can use your wooden dowel to help with this step.

10. Slip stitch the lower part of the mountain closed.

11. Now sit back and enjoy your little piece of alpine goodness. Or share this with a friend for the perfect snow-peaked present!

Enjoy!
