Photoshop Tutorial: Elephant Butterfly

Elephant Butterfly:

How to do it:
1. On Photoshop, open your three different pictures: your elephant, butterfly and background.

2. With your magnetic lasso, go around one wing of the butterfly.

3. Replace the ear of the elephant with the butterfly wing. Erase any ear parts remaining that stick out from behind the wing.

4. Do the same for the next ear.

5. On the side where you have your different layers, right click on the background layer which should be the bottom one and click merge visible.

6. Then once again use your magnetic lasso and go around the elephant and drag him to your selected background tab.
7. Transform him according to your chosen background. (scale, rotate...)

Done!

DIY Brick Books

DIY Brick Books:

So I've seen these book painted bricks online and I thought well damn, that's an awesome idea! They are used as Garden Decor but I prefer to use them as book ends! I must say that i'm quite obsessed with this idea and I will probably make more very soon even though I have no need for them and my house is pretty cramped as it is. So having bricks around wont help but what the heck!

What you'll need:

- bricks
- paint (I used white and orange)
- paintbrush
- printed titles for your books (the Iliad by Homer, 1984 by George Orwell, the Great Gatsby by E. Scott Fitzgerald...)
- scissors
- marker (optional)
- correction pen (optional)
- packaging tape
- bowl of warm water

How to do it:

1. Using your book titles follow the photo transfer with packaging tape tutorial.

2. While you are waiting, paint your brick however you like.

3. Once the photo transfer is done, stick it onto the brick. What I also did was add my little logo at the bottom.

4. With the marker trace two lines, one at the top and one at the bottom to make a separation between the white paint and the orange paint. You can go over the lines with a correction pen.

Aren't they nice?

Collages

With the Teen Choice awards coming up tomorrow, I decided to make some collages. This was actually due to the fact that I was bored one night and started making them for no particular reason but let's just say that it's for Teen Choice. The collages made are Teen Wolf, Pretty Little Liars and Divergent. I'll post some more when I've made them.

I was in France!

Hello! Hello! Sorry for not having posted anything lately! I've been away to Paris for a week visiting my Grandmaman and I had such a great time seeing her and seeing Paris again. But that still doesn't explain why I haven't posted anything for you. I'm very sorry! I went to Disneyland and to the Eiffel Tower and I also managed to see Abercrombie and Fitch for the first time on the Champs Elysee. So here are some pictures I took while I was there. Oh and I do speak French fluently since I'm half french myself explaining the fact that my Grandmother lives in France. Anyway, here are the pictures:
